— Two Southern Wayne High School students have been charged with making bogus bomb threats against the school in recent weeks.

Brittany Magalene Chestnut, 17, of 104 Rogers St., and Deja Monique Dyson, 16, of 372 Cricket Ridge Road, both of Mount Olive, were each charged with making a false report concerning a destructive device.

On April 7, Southern Wayne High officials found the word "bomb" written on a wall of the school, authorities said. Six days later, school officials found "Bomb in locker 403" written on a wall.
