Third suspect sought in Chapel Hill shooting

Chapel Hill, N.C. — Police said Tuesday that they are looking for a third suspect in connection with a shooting a week ago in Chapel Hill.
Kenneth Hardin, 45, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening when he was shot Sep. 24 in the hand and abdomen at a home on Pope Road, police said Thursday.
Two men – Rahmil Dimitri Ingram, 20, and Jahmil Deshawn Ingram, 18 – were initially identified as suspects in the case and are still wanted in connection with the crime.
Police are now also looking for Jaheem Rashard Watson, 24, who is wanted on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping and other related conspiracy charges.
Jahmil Ingram faces the same charges, and Rahmil Ingram is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and assault by pointing a gun.
Police consider the three men armed and dangerous.
