Two UNC students struck by tree on campus

— Two University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill students were struck by a tree on campus Monday, campus police said.

The tree fell just before 2 p.m. off of South Columbia Street.

Both students were believed to have non-life-threatening injuries, said Randy Young, of the UNC Police Department.

One student was treated and released at the scene. The other student was transported to a nearby hospital.

    The tree should have been tasered to stop the non-compliant behavior. Was it an oak tree? Could have tasered the tree in the acorns.
