FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police were searching early Saturday for two men wanted in connection with a shooting in the parking lot of a tobacco store on McArthur Road.

Officers responding to Royal Cigars & Tobacco at about 5:30 p.m. Friday found a 24-year-old man who had been shot while sitting in his car. Miguel Yusuf was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

According to investigators, Yusuf was shot by a man who had been sitting in the back of his vehicle. The suspect fled the scene in another car that was parked at the tobacco store.

Surveillance images released by Fayetteville police show one suspect in a white T-shirt, blue jeans and brown boots. Authorities said the man has been identified as the shooter and should be considered armed and dangerous.

The second suspect, a man wearing white pants, blue shoes and a tank, allegedly drove the shooter from the scene.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the identity of the suspects should call the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for tips that help solve felony cases.
