Two sought in robbery of Raleigh Burger King

North Carolina State University police were searching early Tuesday for two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery that happened at a Burger King on Avent Ferry Road.

— Raleigh police were searching early Tuesday for two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery that happened at a Burger King on Avent Ferry Road. 

According to investigators, the men entered the restaurant, which is near the intersection of Avent Ferry Road and Centennial Parkway, at about 12:15 a.m.

One suspect armed with a gun, and the other had a knife, police said. No injuries were reported in the robbery, and police said the men were last seen heading east away from campus. 

N.C. State University police issued a WolfAlert to students overnight, warning them about the robbery.

    It probably just makes more sense to identify the suspects if they are not black.

    I must say, that while some of partisan complaints against WRAL are misguided, I have absolutely noticed a definite pattern of them refusing to cite race if the person(s) happen to be black. Sad state of affairs for what's supposed to be a NEWS organization.
