Two sought in Raeford Dollar General robbery

Investigators are looking for the man in this security photo in connection with the Sept. 21, 2013, robbery at Dollar General, at 147 Davis Bridge Road in Raeford.

— The Hoke County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened Saturday at a Dollar General store at 147 Davis Bridge Road in Raeford.

Two men with handguns walked into the store shortly before 3 p.m., demanded money from the cash registers and safe and then left in a white four-door car.

They were last seen leaving the area on Arabia Road.

No other information was released.

    Holy moly, that store is about five minutes from my house. And it's nowhere near Raeford.

    That's what I was going to say. Imagine how dumb you have to be to rob a Dollar General. They probably didn't get 50 bucks.
