Why not start groups working for the advocacy of HUMAN RIGHTS. Everybody wants equal rights/treatment. The outcome would be the same no matter what the gender, race, religion, or sexual preference of the person on the business end of that gun had been.

What do you mean by, "Now, if one would like to talk about racism....here is a real place to start?" There is nothing in this story about the race of the shooter, the victim, or the investigators. Why bring it up?

Has anyone taken into account the number of women that are being killed on a daily basis in our country? They are being shot, raped, throats slashed, strangled, burned, chopped into pieces, tortured, enslaved, etc.. I think if there are any issues that need to be addressed in the crime department in America is the devaluation of the female American Citizens. Now, if one would like to talk about racism....here is a real place to start. By the way, folks, just where in the heck are the "Women's Rights Groups"? Huh?
