FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are looking for two men wanted in connection with a sexual assault reported over the weekend.

The victim told investigators that she was leaving a friend's house on Bonnie Street around 5 a.m. Sunday when the men, driving a late-model green four-door Dodge Neon, drove up to her, forced her into the car and then drove her to Blount Street, where she was sexually assaulted.

She was left at the scene, and the men drove away.

Authorities have only a vague description of the suspects.

One was in his mid-20s, stood about 5 feet 4 inches tall and had short hair. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved checkered dress shirt with a white tank underneath, black jeans and tan boots.

The other was about 6 feet tall, skinny and had a bald head but his hair was growing out. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and dark pants.

Investigators said the Dodge Neon was a pale-green late-1990s four-door with a dent on the passenger side.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department's Special Victims Unit at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
