Two sought in Durham store robbery
Durham police are searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery that happened Jan. 12.
Posted — UpdatedTwo men armed with guns and wearing scarves over their faces entered Cricket Communication, 1213 University Drive, around 2:30 p.m., demanded money and took money, purses and wallets from employees and customers.
The robbers might have fled in a bluish-green Ford Crown Victoria.
One of the men was described as a 20- to 30-year-old black man standing about 6 feet 1 inch tall with a large birthmark on his right cheek. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black clothing.
The second robber was described as a black man in his late teens or 20s, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and wearing his hair in braids. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and tan pants.
