Two sought in Durham shootings

— Durham police asked for tips Tuesday to locate two men wanted in two shootings in the past week.

Michael Maurice "Mike Mike" Gill, 19, of Bacon Street, faces felony conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon charges, police said. He is known to frequent the McDougald Terrace community. 

Investigators say Gill was in a vehicle on Liberty Street when he shot a pedestrian in the arm on May 3.

Calvin Montrell Harris, 27, of Kingston Mill Court, is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into an occupied vehicle in connection with a May 5 shooting on South Elm Street.

Investigators say Harris also shot a man in the arm and that the crime was not random.
