Two people stabbed in Garner

— Two people were taken to WakeMed on Friday afternoon after being stabbed, Garner police said.

The stabbings occurred at 2:30 pm. at 3719 Woodside Drive, police said. One victim was identified as 36-year-old Daniel Bennett.

One person was in custody, but police didn't release any other information about the incident.

    This happened in Cloverdale Subdivision, where I live. Nothing ever happens here. I hope they release more details soon.

    Lets ban knives now... i mean.. isn't that the mantra any time someone shoots someone about guns? So knife ownership should be illegal also... be consistent libs

    No sense in continually bashing Durham for all of the crime that occurs there. It is constant! I too hope these folks will be ok. And yes, crime does happen everywhere, no one is immune. Some cities just have a whole lot more of it than others.

    Stabbings in Garner now...There has been a bunch of crime in Raleigh the last few weeks also. What is fueling this recent surge in stabbings and shootings? Where are all the Durham bashers when this happens in other counties? I hope these people will be ok.
