Two people were injured late Thursday in a shooting on Deep Wood Circle near Garner, the Wake County Sheriff's Office said.

<b>GARNER, N.C.</b> — Two people were injured late Thursday in a shooting on Deep Wood Circle near Garner, the Wake County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies responded to 108 Deepwood Circle at about 10:45 p.m. When they arrived, they found one man with a gunshot wound in the yard of 107 Forest Wood Drive, which runs perpendicular to Deepwood Circle in the Gatewood subdivision.

A short time later, another man who had been shot was found at 102 Plaza Drive. Both men were taken to WakeMed. Their names and conditions were not available.

No other details about the shooting have been released.
