— The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has two of three suspects in the shooting death of a doughnut shop worker in custody.

Patrick King, 18, turned himself in Tuesday morning, and deputies arrested Luis Marquez-Lopez, 19, on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The third suspect, Angel Bonilla, 18, is still at large.

All three have been charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery.

Three masked men robbed Donut Connection, 104 S. Bragg Blvd., at about 4 a.m. Sunday and killed Ranesh Rai, 66, who worked in the store, authorities said.

Rai's sister, who was working with him, and a customer also were in the store at the time of the robbery. The three robbers escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, authorities said.

Anyone with information about the Donut Connection robbery and shooting is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 910-323-1500 or its anonymous TIPSLINE at 910-484-TIPS.

I am so with you Pedward8!! I am so sick of the lack of value for a person's life. Was it really necessary to kill the man after they got the money??? These criminals are so big & bad when commiting these crimes...trying to prove something... I almost suspect a gang related crime. I am so saddened for this family...I have been to their business several times in the recent months...and they give such great service. My prayers are with the family members left behind to pick up the pieces. My 26yo sister was found murdered...taken from her 3 very young children...I have raised them along with my 2 children...life was never the same without my sister.

Crimes like this tend to make me very angry toward some of humanity. For someone to get killed while working to support ones self or others.... and then that life is taken away because someone wanted your company's money. I am past angry... The masses need to be the same way. This has to stop.

This is a really sad and senseless killing - I hope these 3 criminals (assuming they are guilty) get what they deserve!!!
