Two men shot in Kinston parking lot
Two men were injured during a shooting in a parking lot at 104 E. Shine St. in Kinston early Sunday, police said.

Investigators believe that shots were fired at cars in the parking lot while the men were trying to get into their car around 3:15 a.m. Bullets struck Franklin Travill, 29, from Lenoir County, and Tracy Grady, 27, of Kinston.
Both Travill and Grady were in stable condition at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville late Sunday morning, police said.
Investigators were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
