birkie74693, if they've eaten there before and got bad food, wouldn't you say Sonic robbed them?

If that's the case, then what's the problem here?

My prediction is that the robbers live somewhere nearby. I live within walking distance of that Sonic, and the fact that the robbers took only money and didn't demand any of that alleged 'food' strongly suggests this to me: the robbers have tried to eat there previously and knew not to try it again. That suggests that they live nearby. QED.

There must be a lot of money at the Sonic.

"With no description of the perps, why bother with the "news"." comment
"Just the usual suspects, no need for description" - comment

WRAL seems to have a policy of censoring descriptions given to police. WRAL reported 3 men. While race is avoided (for a reason) Sex is not, age is not. Perhaps WRAL should simply say "person or persons? like the UNC paper. Does it matter the race, sex, age, dress of the criminals unless tips are being sought? The N&O will report more completely.

If reporting race elicits racist remarks, then why not censor, or better yet, address those remarks? There must be special interest groups complaining to WRAL? If so, there's a story in that.

The fed printing trillions in "free money" to defend the Prez and Congress is robbing the average American family $1800 a year in inflation, bank interest, and 401K returns. I take that more personally than robbery of a massive, wealthy corporation peddling junk meat and sugar water.

Multiple robberies in Raleigh last night. Coming to be expected headlines lately with more senseless crimes.
