— Two men armed with a shotgun robbed a Sonic restaurant in Fayetteville around midnight Monday, police said.

The men, whose faces were covered, approached employees who had closed the business at 1489 Skibo Road and were walking to their cars, police said. They forced the employees to the ground and stole property belonging to them and the business. The men then jumped the fence and ran away to the north.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Fayetteville police detectives at 910-433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that solve crimes.

THEY KNOW THE LAW WORKS FOR THE SUSPECT NOT THE VICTIM ITS NOT THE POLICE AT FALT JUST THE SUSPECT HAS MORE RIGHTS THAN THE VICTIM. AND THE SUSPECT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING.

With all the robberies, attemptred robberies and shootings lately the county is concerned with the number of pets you own. kermit60

Seems to me instead of limiting the number of pets, they need to limit the number of animals. Too many animals loose and out of control. And they seem to all have past criminal records. What does that say about the system?

I agree, between Fayetteville and Durham those two cities are out of control! danyelle732

No kidding! I would not live in either place and only reason to go into Durham is to the DPAC. Any trip to either city is pretty risky! We are seeing several incidents DAILY!
