Two men, one woman arrested in Goldsboro break-in

Goldsboro police arrested two men and a woman early Wednesday after responding to a break-in in progress call in the 600 block of S. Best Street around 3 a.m.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police arrested two men and a woman early Wednesday after responding to a break-in in progress call in the 600 block of S. Best Street around 3 a.m.

Officers Gilstrap and French arrived at the residence first and found two men and a woman in the front yard and the front door kicked in, police said.

Officers arrested William Hardy, 22, of 812 William St. in Kinston, Herman Lee Jones, 27, of 7047 N.C. Highway 58 North in Kinston, and Keta Danyelle Lamb, 26, of 227 Pinecone St. in Snow Hill, and charged them with second-degree burglary.

They were being held in the Wayne County Jail under the following secured bonds – Hardy: $35,000, Jones: $25,000 and Lamb: $15,000.
