Two killed in Cumberland shootout

Cumberland County investigators are trying to figure out who is responsible for the deaths of two men killed in a shootout outside Fayetteville early Sunday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County investigators are trying to figure out who is responsible for the deaths of two men killed in a shootout outside Fayetteville early Sunday.

Debbie Tanna, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office, gunfire erupted in a home at 3921 Donna St. around 4:20 a.m. and that Rodriguez Odell Harris, 23, of Fayetteville, was killed.

Another man, Terrell Boykin, 19, also of Fayetteville, was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later died.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 910-323-1500.
