Man arrested in shooting outside Raleigh club

Raleigh, N.C. — Police made an arrest Friday evening, about 20 hours after a man fired his weapon outside downtown Raleigh's Club Bodi.
Michael Adolphe Cadet, 29, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, discharging a weapon into occupied property and discharging a firearm within city limits. He was being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
Two men were injured in the shooting, which took place at about 3 a.m. outside the club, at 310 S. West St.
Hany Mousa Shehadeh, 35, of Rocky Mount, was shot in the face, and remained at WakeMed Friday evening. Keshon Oneil Johnson, 23, of Charlotte, was shot in the wrist. Police said Friday evening that it was likely he had been released.
Witnesses told WRAL News that one of the shooting victims was pulled out of a car in the parking lot before being taken to WakeMed.
According to its Facebook page, Club Bodi was hosting a back-to-school party Thursday evening for college students returning to Raleigh. A witness told WRAL News that there were as many as 100 people inside the club at the time of the shooting.
According to police records, officers have been called to the club about 110 times in the last year.
