Two wounded in Raleigh stabbing

Two people were wounded early Sunday following an altercation on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. The victims were insulting the suspect, who took out a knife and assaulted them, police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people were wounded early Sunday following an altercation on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh. The victims were insulting the suspect, who took out a knife and assaulted them, police said.

One person was stabbed in the stomach and taken to a local hospital. The other was treated at the scene for knife wounds to the leg.

A suspect was taken into custody.

The names and conditions of those was not released.
