Two injured in Four Oaks wreck involving tractor

A wreck in the 1000 block of Keen Road in Four Oaks Saturday afternoon left two people injured, according to the state Highway Patrol.

FOUR OAKS, N.C. — A wreck in the 1000 block of Keen Road in Four Oaks Saturday afternoon left two people injured, according to the state Highway Patrol.

The wreck occurred around 4 p.m. when an SUV crossed the center-line and struck a tractor head on.

The driver of the SUV, Jessica Ogus, 27, was transported by helicopter to Duke Hospital. She was listed in critical condition Saturday evening.

Ogus was exceeding a safe speed while coming out of a curve, troopers said.

Charges are pending.

The driver of the tractor, Mark King, 39, was thrown off the machine during the wreck. The tractor then ran over him. King was transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital. His condition was not known.
