Two injured in east Raleigh shooting

Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries late Tuesday after a shooting in the 2400 block of Melvid Court, Raleigh police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries late Tuesday after a shooting in the 2400 block of Melvid Court, Raleigh police said. 

Officers responded to the Cedar Moor Apartments, near Peyton Street, about 11 p.m. Authorities did not release any other information about the cause of the shooting. 

It wasn't clear early Wednesday if charges would be filed.
