Durham, N.C. — Two people were injured in a shooting in northern Durham late Sunday morning, authorities said.
Police were called out to the shooting in the 600 block of Stratton Way shortly before 11 a.m. Paramedics said they transported two people to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Relatives at the scene said that the shooting stemmed from a child custody dispute. Police have not released more details, including the identities of the victims.
Police had taped off two separate areas of Stratton Drive and were interviewing witnesses early Sunday afternoon.
