Two injured in drive-by shooting in Fayetteville

Two people were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds early Wednesday after a drive-by shooting in the 5700 block of Aftonshire Drive, Fayettevile police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two people were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds early Wednesday after a drive-by shooting in the 5700 block of Aftonshire Drive, Fayettevile police said. 

Officers responding to the area about 12:30 a.m. found two people in the front yard of a home with gunshot wounds. They were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where they were treated and released. 

Fayetteville police were searching early Wednesday for a white minivan with tinted windows.
