Two Goldsboro men sought in shooting

Goldsboro police are searching for two men who are accused of attempted first-degree murder and other charges.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Goldsboro police are searching for two men who are accused of attempted first-degree murder and other charges.

Braddock Bernard Gross III, 20, of 1218 Franklin St., and Billy Renaldo Hamm Jr., 19, of 1212 E. Elm St., are accused of shooting Antonio Lamont Deans on March 25.

Deans, who was a passenger in a vehicle at the time he was shot, was found near the intersection of Poplar Street and Westview Court, police said.

He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then air-lifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. His condition was not released.

Gross and Hamm are each charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied conveyance in operation and one count of discharging a weapon into occupied property causing serious bodily injury.
