Two from El Salvador, wanted in Va. murder, arrested in Raleigh

Denis Ludwin Espinal Alvares, 19, and Erick Alexander Contreras Gonzalez, 23, are accused of abducting a man from his home in Woodbridge, Va., last week, shooting him multiple times, putting him in the trunk of his own car and setting that car on fire.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two men wanted in connection with a murder in Virginia were arrested Tuesday in Raleigh.

Denis Ludwin Espinal Alvares, 19, and Erick Alexander Contreras Gonzalez, 23, are both citizens of El Salvador with multiple aliases, according to the warrants for their arrests.

Police from Prince William County, Va., accuse the pair of abducting a man from his home in Woodbridge, Va., last week, shooting him multiple times, putting him in the trunk of his own car and setting that car on fire.

Alvares' home address is listed as Oxon Hill, Md. Gonzalez' is listed as Hershaw, W. Va. Both were being held in the Wake County jail pending transfer to Virginia, and both were under an immigration detainer on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security.
