Two found dead in Knightdale home
A 49-year-old man and 49-year-old woman were found dead inside a home on Bellefont Court in Knightdale Thursday evening after an apparent murder-suicide, Police Chief Jason Godwin said.

Family members asked police to check the home, at 605 Bellefont Court, and they found Yul Brynner Barber and Veronica Sutton-Wheeler dead inside.
Authorities said Friday that they believe Barber died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No other information about the investigation was released.
Both bodies will be sent to the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh for autopsies, police said.
