Two dead in U.S. 70 vehicle collision near Goldsboro
Two people were killed Monday after a vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 70 just west of Goldsboro, the N.C. State Highway Patrol said. The accident closed all lanes of the highway.
Posted — UpdatedGOLDSBORO, N.C. — Two people were killed Monday after a vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 70 west of Goldsboro, the N.C. State Highway Patrol said.
The wreck happened near Perkins Mill Road after a vehicle travelling west crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle that crossed over and a person in the vehicle that was hit were killed, troopers said.
The accident closed all lanes of the highway.
