— Two people were killed and five others were injured in a shooting early Sunday at a Hope Mills party, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Tanishia Graham, 32, and Izaak Bridges, 21, were killed in the shooting at the home at 1914 Gumberry Court shortly before 2 a.m. Names of the five people who were injured were not released.

Investigators believe the incident was not a drive-by shooting, but that it happened at the party.

It's about time we banned all parties. Or at least have a 5 day waiting period before you can have a party....

I can't help but wonder if there will be more shootings in retaliation for this. It seems that is the way these folks handle these things nowadays. They feel the law just doesn't apply to them and deal with injustices as if it was still the wild west era...

Doesn't seem like much has changed since his last posts in 2011. Drugs, degrading women, the works. Being 'bout that life' usually leads one of two places. The results were no different here.

Now the deputies will learn that no one at the party saw anything.

Very sad - I found Mr. Bridges Facebook page yesterday and he had pictures from a few years ago, and comparing the current mugshot on WRAL to his previous pictures from a couple years ago, he looks quite different unfortunately. Pictures of the shooter has not been identified yet, but we can guess based on history. At some point, this black on black crime needs to become a priority for black leaders like Sharpton, Barber, Holder, Obama, and church leaders - they need to quit blaming others for their own failures,

Some party. Really nice venue too. Glad I sent my RSVP excusing myself early.

Granted these people would have killed the victims anyway but guns must have made it a lot easier.
