Two charged with killing woman, son at Cumberland home
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has charged two Fayetteville men with murder in connection with the shooting deaths of a woman and her son at their home on Matt Hair Road last week.

Leondrea Montrell Robinson, 32, of 6925 Johnson Road, and Corey Lavone Spell, 44, of 5768 Mack Simmons Road, each face two counts of first-degree murder, one count of conspiracy and one count of breaking and entering. They were being held Thursday in the Cumberland County jail without bond.
The sheriff's office said the men killed Yolanda George, 57, and Jamal Skinner, 35, at the home they shared at 5442 Matt Hair Road in rural Cumberland County, about 15 miles southeast of Fayetteville.
A neighbor found George's body partially clothed behind a mobile home next door to where she lived on Oct. 2. The man who lived at the house said it appeared she tried to seek help and collapsed in his yard.
Skinner was found after deputies obtained a search warrant to enter the home.
Authorities have said the shootings weren't random, but released no information about the relationship between the victims and suspects.
George's sister, Piccola Miller, told WRAL News last week that George had been the victim of a home robbery and had planned to ambush the person or people responsible.
"She was going to be waiting for them," said Piccola Miller on Oct.3. "She knew whoever was coming to get the TVs and what-not, and she was going to kill them, going to shoot them."
The sheriff's office has not confirmed Miller's statements.
