GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has charged two men in connection with a fire this week in Goldsboro.

Ronnie Clifton Bass, 19, and Terrence Robinson, 19, both of 4729 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, were each charged Thursday with one count of burning of certain buildings.

Investigators said witnesses saw to men running from a vacant house at 4721 Wayne Memorial Drive on Sunday around 3:15 p.m.

Fires had been set in a bedroom and the dining area of the house, which had been vacant for approximately two to four weeks, authorities said.

Both Bass and Robinson were both in the Wayne County jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
