GARNER, N.C. — Garner police have arrested one suspect and are looking for a second in connection with two robberies in the area.

Roy Dakota Locklear was arrested Wednesday on multiple counts of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Investigators have also issued arrest warrants on the same charges for Rodrecus Lamar Cannady.

Both men are accused of robbing the Han-Dee Hugo's on N.C. Highway 50 on Aug. 17 and the Cricket Wireless store on Fifth Avenue on Aug. 20.

In each case, police said, robbers entered the stores, threatened the clerks with a knife and left with money and personal property.

Investigators are following additional leads and more charges are expected, police said.
