Third suspect sought in fatal Fayetteville shooting

Fayetteville police are searching for 24-year-old James Matthew Johnson in connection with the Nov. 2 shooting death of a man in the 6500 block of Wicklow Place.

Johnson, of the 1100 block of Windmill Road in Fayetteville, is wanted on first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, first-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon charges in the death of Bobby Lamar Boose.

Boose, 43, was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when police found him. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital, where he later died.

On Nov. 5, police arrested two women in the case.

Myeisha Brown, 25, of the 5400 block of Laramie Court, and Michele Butler, 26, of the 6500 block of Wicklow Place, were each charged with first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit murder.
