Jaquan Amand Dennis, 21, and Nebraska Raheem Best, 23, were arrested Monday in connection with the Dec. 27 death of Tony Jermaine Lewis, 42.

<b>GOLDSBORO, N.C.</b> — Police have arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of a Goldsboro man.

Jaquan Amand Dennis, 21, and Nebraska Raheem Best, 23, were taken into custody Monday afternoon in connection with the Dec. 27 death of Tony Jermaine Lewis, 42.

Lewis was found lying in the 700 block of North Virginia Street.

Authorities have not said what prompted the shooting or how the suspects might have known Lewis.

Dennis and Best were scheduled to make their first court appearance Tuesday.
