Posted October 29, 2012

— Police charged two men last week in connection with six break-ins in Benson since July.

Deon Allen Richardson, 18, of 304 Brooklyn St., faces three counts of felony breaking and entering, three counts of felony larceny and one count of felony possession of stolen goods in connection with three home break-ins, police said Monday. He was placed in the Johnston County jail under a $250,000 bond.

When officers arrested Richardson, they recovered several hundred dollars in stolen currency, police said. He had previously been charged in break-ins on Sept. 15 and Oct. 1.

Police also charged Thad Tiee Adams, 26, of 207 S. Lee St., with three counts of felony breaking and entering and three counts of felony larceny in connection with three business break-ins. Officers served arrest warrants on him at the Harnett County jail, where he was being held in connection with an armed robbery in Benson and robbery in Dunn.

He was arrested on those charges Oct. 25. He received a $75,000 secured bond for the new charges.

If a teen doesn't have a job by the age of 18...FORCE them into Job Corps. Everyone needs a trade. Otherwise, they walk the streets with nothing to do. Idleness breeds crime.

See em walking the streets all the time with nothing to do , but look at your stuff and figure out how to get it. Thanks Pres, for the jobs you promised. Thad should never get out with the amount of hard criminal felonies he has. Stealing, sexual, drugs, armed robbery. Let's give him another chance, come on.
