Two arrested, one sought in Fayetteville apartment complex shooting

Fayetteville, N.C. — A man and two women have been charged in connection with a Friday afternoon shooting at a Fayetteville apartment complex that sent two women to the hospital, police said.
Authorities were called to the Tera Gardens Apartments, at 233 Law Road, at about 3:15 p.m. Investigators say a man forced his way into an apartment and shot Jessica Patrice Dudley, 25, and Rosa Liguetta Barfield, 25.
Dudley and Barfield were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where they were being treated Saturday, police said.
Sharon Denise Jones, 44, of the 1300 block of Shaw Road, Dominique Latrece Rush, 22, of the 100 block of Lenox Place Circle, and Cedric Darnell Williams, 25, of the 1300 block of Shaw Road, have been charged in the shooting.
Jones and Rush were taken into custody following the incident when authorities conducted a traffic stop about 4 miles away from the apartments on Murchison Road. They are each charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, two counts of felony conspiracy and breaking and entering.
Both Jones and Rush were being held in the Cumberland County jail Saturday under $210,000 secured bonds.
Williams is also charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill, two counts of felony conspiracy, breaking and entering and possession of a firearm by a felon. Police said Saturday that Williams is considered armed and dangerous.
