Two men charged in a double shooting last month in Durham have been arrested, police said Thursday.

Police said Adam Yunus Coovadia and Brandon Neville were both hospitalized after they shot each other in the 900 block of West Trinity Avenue on Jan. 21.

Coovadia, 19, of State Street, was arrested Wednesday and released on a $50,000 bond.

Police are still searching for Neville, 20, of Waterford Valley Drive.

A third man, Cedric Lamar Green, 20, of Autumn Ridge Drive, has also been charged with possession of a stolen firearm in connection with the shooting. He was arrested Feb. 1 and released on $30,600 bond.

Anyone with information on Neville's whereabouts is asked to call Durham police at 919-560-4583, extension 29357, or 919-560-4582, extension 29248, or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200.

If we insisted on a higher standard of 'security of the weapon' by the so called 'legal owners', then we wouldn't have so many 'illegal' guns floating around. All guns start out legal....then the 'legal' people allow them to get out of control.

See? What we need are some new gun laws, and some more restrictions... then this sort of gun-violence would be reduced! ...Or at least the probability of it. --- Golly. I wonder if these guys will lose their Concealed Carry Permits... And their legally owned registered guns they used. …Well except for the one that was a stolen gun... I guess that will go back to its rightful owner, eh?

Haircut needed!

Can you say "revolving door"?

Possession of a stolen firearm and his bail is 30 thousand. He will be out in no time soon and have his new gun the next day.
