Third suspect arrested in Cumberland County shooting

According to authorities, Zachary Michael Locklear, 18, of the 200 block of Summerhill Drive in Lumber Bridge, was in custody after surrendering to U.S. Marshals at a fast food restaurant in St. Pauls.

On Feb. 16, Dominique Jamal Clark, 23, of the 2900 block of Dwell Drive in Fayetteville, and Dwight Dewey Bristol Jr., 25, of the 900 block of Fredonia Drive in Fayetteville, were arrested and charged in the case. Both men were charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bristol is also charged with violating his probation.

Both men were held in the Cumberland County jail under $150,000 and $350,000 bonds, respectively.

Locklear was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.

Locklear's mother, Kathy Lynn Bell, 43, was also arrested Saturday. She is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after authorities said she took her 15-year-old daughter to the illegal liquor house where the shooting later occurred.

Kathy Locklear was being held under a $2,000 secured bond.

Tanishia Graham, 32, and Izaak Bridges, 21, both of Fayetteville, were among seven people shot while attending a gathering inside an illegal liquor house on the 1900 block of Gumberry Road in Hope Mills.

Graham, who was celebrating her birthday that day, and Bridges were both killed.

Investigators have not said what led to the shootings or who they think fired into the gathering.
