Two arrested in Fayetteville sexual assault, kidnapping

Two men were arrested and charged with driving a woman from Fayetteville to Raleigh against her will, raping her, then robbing her before running her over with their vehicle on April 7, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Sunday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County sheriff's deputies have charged two men they said drove a woman from Fayetteville to Raleigh against her will, raped her, then robbed her before running her over with their vehicle.

Deputies said the incident happened April 7.

Joshua Obrien Horne of Nashville is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, conspiracy and common law robbery. Josue Delvillar of Raleigh is charged with attempted second-degree rape, first-degree kidnapping, conspiracy, common law robbery and felony hit and run.

Horne and Delvillar remained in the Cumberland County jail under $185,000 and $160,000 bonds, respectively.

The victim remains hospitalized due to her injuries.
