Two arrested in Fayetteville bank robbery
Two suspects wanted in last week's armed robbery of a First Citizens bank in Fayetteville have been arrested, and authorities are still searching for a third.

Agents with the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force captured Lonnie Russell shortly before noon Wednesday, according to Fayetteville police.
Russell, 30, of the 4700 block of Monticello Avenue, Hope Mills, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping. Bond information was not immediately available.
Authorities said they previously searched a residence on the 4200 block of Knollwood Drive, Fayetteville, and found a weapon in possession of one of the residents, identified as Martinez Campbell, 24.
Campbell was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He was held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $10,000 secured bond.
Police are still searching for Michael Campbell, 30, who is the brother of Martinez Campbell. He is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping.
Police responded to a call about a bank robbery in progress at 11:20 a.m. Friday at the First Citizens branch at 2617 Bragg Boulevard. Witnesses said two men walked in, brandished weapons and demanded money. They took an undisclosed amount and fled.
