— Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured two people at a Harnett County shopping center Monday night.

Damien Sherrod Street, 20, of 4 Sierra Lane, Sanford, and Tiyon Nathan Turner, 16, each face one count of robbery and discharging a weapon into occupied property inflicting serious injury, after Harnett County authorities say they opened fire into a vehicle on N.C. Highway 24/87 near Plantation Drive in Cameron.

Gregory Ricardo Fargas, 20, and Tonielle Dominic Foushee, 24, were sitting in the car outside a Bojangles' restaurant and drove to a nearby Little Caesars pizza store for help.

The pair were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

Street, who also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana, was arrested a short time later and jailed at the Harnett County Detention Center under a $750,000 secured bond.

Turner surrendered to authorities in Cumberland County Tuesday morning.

Authorities said Fargas told deputies that he was supposed to sell drugs to the men but changed his mind before they began shooting.

Investigators are still searching for two other people who were seen leaving the area with Street and Turner.

Its time for our government to take away everyone guns. Only law enforcement and our brave men& women in US military will be permitted to carry guns.

That worked really well for Adolf Hitler in Germany during the 30's. Obama would love it, but that is just 1 reason he is the most hated person in the US

for our government to take away everyone guns. Only law enforcement and our brave men& women in US military will be permitted to carry guns.....Proud Liberal

You know that will never happend and youre mostly a troll but you go ahead and wait for the cops, they DO NOT have constitutional duty to protect you according to the SCOTUS. But you run and hide in a closet thats the best defense for you and your family.

simple solution to stop these crimes. death penalty for gun crimes.

You own a gun, you are held responsible if it is stolen and is used in the commission of a crime???

You're a responsible owner, your liability shouldn't end when you submit a lost/stolen gun report to the police???

If that gun is used in a capital offense, you stand trial with the person who pulled the trigger???

That makes NO sense. Lets run with this logic: If I steal prescription medication from you and I die overdosing on it then YOU should be charged with murder. If I steal your car and run somebody over then YOU are charged with murder. Just stole your dog and it bit somebody, you are getting charged for that too, mainly because its out of your control. But I guess all this is possible in your liberal utopia in your mind...

Just one thing stands in the way of you plan, it's called the US Constitution! I do however realize that the president and many of his followers don't feel they have to honor it.

Actually gun owners stand in the way as well, ready to defend the Constitution at ALL costs....

"Fargas told investigators he was supposed to sell drugs to Street and Turner but changed his mind before they began shooting." Sounds like everyone needs a little prison time for reflection.

"Mo Blues - here is a gun control law that will address both issues. You own a gun, you are held responsible if it is stolen and is used in the commission of a crime"

As long as this is applied to everything. Have a hammer stolen from your work truck and it's used in a crime you spend the rest of your life in jail. You sell a car and someone drives drunk and ends a life you spend the rest of your life in jail. Ya, sound fair...
