A Monday afternoon exchange on Twitter:
N.C. House Budget Chair Nelson Dollar, R-Wake, posted a photo of a cloud-shrouded state government complex in downtown Raleigh and commented: “Dark clouds hovering over the #NCGA today … predictor of the budget negotiations?”
Sadie Weiner, Gov. Roy Cooper’s Communications Director responded: “Nope, just the dark cloud of racial gerrymander hanging over the #ncga”
