Twice As Nice sale canceled, family expo still planned

"We've exhausted all of our efforts to find a place that would be large enough to host us and willing to do so on such short notice," owners Michelle Zimmerman and Karen Dorman wrote to supporters today. "Ultimately, we've run out of options and time."

But the two local moms are still planning the Triangle Family Expo, which also was scheduled for this Friday and Saturday. The event showcases local businesses, vendors and others that cater to families, and includes activities for kids.

"The Triangle Family Expo is still operating as scheduled but at an alternate location, to be announced," they wrote on their website and in an email to supporters.

Zimmerman and Dorman wrote that they are working with several upcoming local consignment sales to see if Twice As Nice consignors can be part of those sales this season instead.
