Weekly Totals: Grocery expenses for the last week

Here are my grocery and drug store totals for the week that included 6/5 – 6/11. I am going to start sharing my grocery totals here and there (well, whenever I have time to put this list together!) so you can see where I am shopping and what I am saving.

Please feel free to share your weekly totals as well.

As you can see, I did not spend much money at all this last week. With the Lowes Foods Super Doubles and a $25 Kroger gift card for transferring a prescription, my weekly total was only $40! I plan on doing a big shop on Friday or Saturday in preparation for our Father’s Day cookout.

Total paid: $13.00

Saved: 95%

Bought Activia, Steamfresh veggies, peaches, various produce, Pillsbury biscuits, Balance Bars, DiGiorno, Land o Frost minis, Yasso Greek yogurt popsicles, hot dog buns, Fruttare bars, diet store brand soda, Luigi’s, etc. Basically I stocked up on yogurt, Balance bars, Steamfresh veggies and a bunch of summer frozen treats that should last for months.....or weeks. :-)

Bought Johnston County tomatoes, blueberries, honey! The blueberries were wonderful!

May 9

Total paid: $0.00

Saved: 100%

After sales and coupons, the total was $24.83 and I had just transferred a prescription to Kroger pharmacy so they loaded a $25 gift card on to my Kroger card making all my groceries free! I bought produce, Hillshire farm lunch meat, granola bars, pasta and more.

Bought Chex Mix, Coke Zero, gum, bottled water and additional "necessary" snacks for beach trip
