BURNET, TEXAS — Do you remember Tropical Storm Harvey? It was moving through the Caribbean, fell apart, and now is coming back to life as it crosses the Yucatan. And we need to watch this carefully!

The latest data suggest that Harvey will become a tropical system again in the southwest Gulf of Mexico in a couple of days. From there, it will start turning northwest and head towards south Texas. Even if it does not become a hurricane, we are talking about a lot of rain. What would make matters worse is if it stalls out and spins over the same area for days.

Details still need to be worked out so I would not say this is what will happen. I am growing concerned though, and will keep an eye on things this week.
