Trio charged with vandalizing Fayetteville school

— Three Walker Spivey School students were charged Wednesday with vandalizing classrooms and buses at their Fayetteville school.

Drew Paris Love, 16, of 1107 Center St., Kalisha Dionne Sykes, 16, of 337 Old Wilmington Road, and Peter Denning, 16, of 510 Orlando St., face multiple counts of felony breaking and entering, injury to personal property, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and misdemeanor injury to real property.

Investigators with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said the suspects broke into seven classroom buildings and seven buses, smashed windows, set off fire extinguishers and destroyed electronic equipment.

Love, Sykes and Denning were each given a $34,500 secured bond and were scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.

    Sorry Anna, But Orlando Street and Center Street is Considered Massey Hill since I was Born and Raised in Massey Hill, But You are right about the other Address from Downtown Fayetteville, It is Near the School itself If I remember Correctly, But I do hope these Kids can get some real Help now through the Court system since I have seen Kids not work out to well from that School.

    @ randyedge...not all the kids that go there are from Massey Hill area. Walker Spivey is a Special Education School, the students at this school come from all over the county. I know this to be true as a friend attended this school for a couple years and he lived in the Cedar Creek area. This school handles emotional, physically and problem disciplinary students from all of Cumberland County.
    In fact only one of the students live in the Massey Hill area, the other leaves downtown and the third leaves off of Camden Road. (Source: Google Maps)

    Any one else ever notice how certain groups of people Only destroy their own stuff? Example: rob and loot the stores in their own neighborhoods.set fires to homes in their own neighborhoods,vandalize schools that THEY ATTEND,in their own neighborhoods.

    Thier sentence should be to pass a standardized test one grade above where they should be in school. Having to study every afternoon at a facility until they pass the test
