Trio charged with vandalizing Fayetteville school

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Three Walker Spivey School students were charged Wednesday with vandalizing classrooms and buses at their Fayetteville school.

Drew Paris Love, 16, of 1107 Center St., Kalisha Dionne Sykes, 16, of 337 Old Wilmington Road, and Peter Denning, 16, of 510 Orlando St., face multiple counts of felony breaking and entering, injury to personal property, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and misdemeanor injury to real property.

Investigators with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said the suspects broke into seven classroom buildings and seven buses, smashed windows, set off fire extinguishers and destroyed electronic equipment.

Love, Sykes and Denning were each given a $34,500 secured bond and were scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
