— Only two closings to report this week, and then we'll move on to the openings.

Pampas Argentinean restaurant in Lafayette Village has closed, according to the News & Observer. The owner cited disagreements with the landlord as the cause, and said his other restaurant, the Oakwood Cafe, will remain open.

A Hillsborough Street restaurant appears to be changing hands. According to the Triangle Food Guy, Hot Box Pizza is closed and might be the new location of a Tijuana Flats.

This is an opening that everyone is excited about! Jimmy V's Osteria & Bar is getting ready to open in late June or early July, according to the News & Observer. The restaurant, located at the Sheraton hotel downtown, will donate a portion of all proceeds to the Jimmy V Foundation. They have the largest outdoor patio and outdoor seating area in Raleigh, according to their Facebook page, and the menu is based around American and Italian comfort foods created with a local, seasonal approach.

Seaboard Station is getting another new restaurant. Donatos Pizza, an Ohio-based chain, is opening a new pizza joint in Raleigh on June 25. Both the owners have connections to the area, and they promise we'll love the quality and taste of the pizza. Plus, you can't go wrong with an "edge-to-edge" pizza – toppings covering the entire pie.

Just in time for summer, a pop-up ice cream shop will be opening in downtown Raleigh. According to New Raleigh, it will occupy the space where Kindred used to be, next to Gravy on Wilmington Street. The only other information out there is their slogan, "You can't buy happiness, but you can buy ice cream. And that's kind of the same thing," and their Twitter account. - UPDATE: They are opening on Friday at 6 p.m.

In the coming months, we'll continue to keep an eye on Fortnight Brewing Company in Cary, which was approved to start construction last week, according to their Twitter. Once they're up and running, they plan on serving English-inspired ales.

And I know these aren't restaurants, but these openings are still notable.

I think we could all use a little more literature in our lives. So & So Books in downtown Raleigh has been opening up in the evenings for the past couple of weeks, and it looks like a pretty cool place.

The Michael Kors store at Crabtree Valley Mall opened yesterday. The modern, minimalist store is located on the upper level next to Pandora.

Also in the retail world, popular apparel store H&M is having a grand opening for its Triangle Town Center location on June 27.
