Triangle Raw Foods' Strawberry Tarts with coconut ginger sauce

— The day Durham has been waiting for is near! The Pit location on Rigsbee Avenue will open for lunch and dinner beginning Nov. 26. Hours daily are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The popular delivery service Triangle Raw Foods has announced the location for their upcoming restaurant. Cafe LOVE (Live Organic Vegan Eats) will be located in south Durham at 3219 Old Chapel Hill Road next to Piper's Deli. It is expected to be open in January, according to The Indy Weekly 

One more piece of food truck news. Chirba Chirba is teaming up with Aviator Brewing Company for a pop up grilling event. Brew 'n Skew is being held Saturday, Nov. 23, from 5-8 p.m. at Belt Line Station, 923 Franklin St. in Durham. Tickets are $25 and are all you can eat. 

In beer news, downtown Raleigh's new Paddy O'Beers bottle shop is having their grand opening celebration next Friday, Nov. 22. They have already opened but we need a party to make it official!

Craving some cookies at 2 a.m.? Who isn't? Insomnia Cookies has opened near UNC's campus. They specialize in late-night cookie deliveries and will be delivering to the campus and surrounding areas. 

Saxby's Coffee has opened its location on Hillsborough Street near N.C. State. The chain specializes in gourmet coffee, smoothies and traditional cafe items. 

Local chain Firewurst has opened its latest location off of North Harrison Avenue next to Bass Pro Shop in Cary. 

Bloggers Chowhound and Triangle Food Guy are reporting about a new Cantonese place in Cary. Banana Leaf is located in the spot formerly occupied by Bombay Beijing off of Cary Towne Boulevard and Walnut Street. 

Tex-Mex chain Chuy's has moved its opening date back a week to Nov. 26. This new restaurant in the North Hills shopping area in Raleigh was supposed to open next week. We will be checking it out during a special media preview, so stay tuned for more! 

Grounds has been broken on Person Street Neighborhood Bar, according to their Facebook page. Still no projected opening date. 

The old Hideaway BBQ building off of Capital Boulevard will be the new home for the Raleigh Greyhound Bus terminal, according to the Triangle Business Journal.
