Britino's Restaurant

Dave and Buster's, a popular restaurant and gaming chain, will open on Wednesday at the Cary Towne Center. If you have never been to a Dave and Buster's before, you are in for a treat. It is basically a Chucky Cheese with beer. So fun for the entire family! 

TerraFin Station will open Monday in the spot formerly occupied by Falls Tap Room on Falls of Neuse Road in north Raleigh. This will be TerraFin's second location in the Triangle. They currently have a restaurant in Garner. 

Also opening on Monday, Baguettaboutit food truck's brick-and-mortar location in the Sheetz Plaza off of TW Alexander Road in the Research Triangle Park. They are holding a grand opening party Friday (today) from 5-8 p.m. featuring some fellow food trucks, corn hole and music.

Plates, which is located in the old Zely and Ritz location on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, is holding its grand opening today (Friday). We are also excited to announce that they are teaming up with Stop Hunger Now for the "Plates for the World" event on Nov. 28. This one-day special promotion includes a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner or dine-in or take-out. Proceeds from the day go to Stop Hunger Now to support their mission to end world hunger. The menu includes choice of two meats, two sides and choice of dessert and fresh yeast rolls, cranberry compote, coffee, tea or fountain drink for $39 per person plus tax and gratuity. Thirty-dollars from each order will go to Stop Hunger Now. Call Plates 919-828-0018 for reservations.

One more opening happening this weekend. Whisk, a new kitchen and bakeware store in Cary's Waverly Place, will hold a grand opening celebration this weekend featuring free in-store cooking demos and lots of specials. 

Salt and Lime Cabo Grill will be moving into the spot formerly occupied by Amedeo’s North off of Falls of Neuse Road in north Raleigh.The restaurant is expected to open in December and will be a “relaxed, full-service bar and grill influenced by the coastal cuisine of Baja, Calif.,” according to their Facebook page.

Tlaquepaque Mexican, which we first told you about a few weeks ago, has opened in Wake Forest in the location that used to be O'Charley's.

Next to Tlaquepaque, I noticed a new restaurant in the works, Britino's. It will be located in the old Steak 'n Shake location. It appears to be in the early stages, so I don't have any other info. 

Los Comales has opened a second location in Durham, according to Triangle Food Guy. This new location is located off of 15-501 on Southwest Durham Drive near the Total Wine and Kroger. 

Chuy's will open its location in Raleigh's North Hills shopping area on Nov. 19, according to Triangle Food Guy. This Tex-Mex restaurant will be located in the new Hyatt House Hotel.

Starting this weekend, Big Boss Brewing Company's taproom will be now be open on Sundays. They will operate from noon to 6 p.m. Thanks to our friend Triangle Explorer for this tip! 

Carrboro's Panzanella restaurant will be closing its doors at the end of December, according to Chapel Hill Magazine and Triangle Food Guy. The restaurant, located at the Historic Car Mill, has been open for nearly 14 years. It is party of the Weaver Street Market Cooperative. 

The Corner Tavern and Grill has closed both its Cary and Apex locations, according to the Cary Citizen. 

Another closure to note: Sunday is the day the Pop Up Ice Cream Parlour will be open on Wilmington Street in downtown Raleigh. They are open Thursday through Sunday this week and have brought back waffle cones and sweet potato and pumpkin ice cream to close out their run. 

We also found out that The Meat House is closing its Mooresville location. The locations in Cary and Raleigh remain open.
