A new craft bottle shop is headed to north Raleigh and Wake Forest has a new global restaurant in this week's Triangle Restaurant News!

RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake Forest has a new restaurant. One Whirled Cafe, an upscale eatery featuring global cuisine, has opened in the former home of Blue Fins Bistro off of Rogers Road.
The new roaring 1920s upscale cocktail bar, Common 414, will hold its grand opening on Aug. 2. The bar is located at 414 Fayetteville St. in downtown Raleigh.
Ajisai Japanese Fusion and Sushi opened this week in Cameron Village in Raleigh. It is located in the former home of SushiGami, which closed more than a year ago after a fire. 
The folks behind Brew, the upcoming coffee shop in Raleigh's Seaboard Station, have launched a Kickstarter to raise about $10,000 for upgrades and equipment before they can open. 
A new craft beer bottle shop is headed to north Raleigh. The Hop Yard NC is hoping to open next month at 1141 Falls River Ave., according to a post on their Facebook page. The shop will also have a 16-tap tasting bar. 
Whiskey in Durham announced this week that it will be closing its doors on Aug. 2. In a posting on Facebook, the bar announced that its upstairs cigar lounge has closed already and the downstairs bar will be open Tuesday through Saturday 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Smoking will be permitted downstairs until they officially close their doors. 
Triangle Business Journal is reporting that Gocciolina Italian restaurant in north Durham is now open. They are located at 3314 Guess Rd., and are open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, according to their website.
Thanks to one of our contributors Hadassah Patterson for bringing this Durham opening to our attention! Primal Food and Spirits just opened Thursday after initially hoping to open in May. They have a gluten-free menu featuring steaks, sides and craft cocktails. They are located on Highway 54 where the Souper! Salad! used to be.
